CHEERS TO…COLDPLAY’S KISS CAM

You honestly couldn't have written this story better if you'd tried.

I'm sure by now you've heard every hot take and dissection, seen all the memes, and lol'd at the way brands have jumped on the Coldplay Kiss-Cam scandal.

For me, the takeaways are three-fold:

- Every moment is content (whether you like it or not) and the performance is the message. How you respond is often more telling than what actually happens.

- The internet isn’t just watching - it’s storyboarding. As a strategist, it’s a reminder that perception is powerful, narrative control is fragile, and once the crowd takes over the script you'd just better hope you like the ending.

- Optics matter more than ever, and silence is a strategy. In this case, the reaction was the reveal. In a world obsessed with narrative, sometimes the best move is to keep your poker face and not hand the crowd the plot twist they’re hunting for.

God love the internet.
