CHEERS TO…YOU GUYS!
No, seriously.
I had a little idea and thought it might be a fun way to raise some money for Ronald McDonald House Central West.
What actually happened was something else entirely.
100 tickets.
67 people.
Gone in 2 hours and 26 minutes.
$10,000 raised.
$26,000+ in prizes.
And yes - at one point I was quite literally crying on the internet.
Not a cute, composed tear. A proper, overwhelmed, what-is-happening-here sob.
The 100 Club didn’t come from one big push or a perfectly executed campaign. It came from people saying yes. People backing the idea. People backing The House. And people backing me.
It’s one thing to talk about community but it’s another thing to watch them show up for you in real time, live on Instagram.
Grateful doesn’t quite feel like a big enough word, but it’s the one I keep coming back to.
So, cheers to you guys ❤️
