CHEERS TO…THE WOMAN WHO DROPS ALBUMS

The woman who drops albums (and entire cultural earthquakes)

Taylor Swift released The Showgirl Costume Department: The Late Olympics and Ashes this week (or whatever spiritual thesis/performance art experiment she’s currently conducting), and whether you love it or hate it - if you’re talking about it, you’re working for her.

In an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple music this week, Taylor said, "The rule of show business is if it's the first week of my album release, and you are saying either my name or my album title, you're helping"(skip to 5:48 if you cbf watching it all

And honestly? That’s the kind of unapologetic clarity every brand and business owner could borrow.

Call it delusion. Call it domination. It’s really just strategy. Because as the old saying goes - there's no such thing as bad publicity.

Conversation = currency. Bravo, Blondie 👏
